OVERVIEW

​

NEW YORK PREMIERE. This darkly comic monodrama follows aging socialite Rebecca Manchester as she reflects on her life and love of opera. Over the course of an extravagant prix-fixe dinner, however, it becomes clear that Rebecca is much more than a simple enthusiast. Featuring a score by Kevin Wilt and a libretto by Caitlin Vincent, Prix Fixe offers a tongue-in-cheek view of one woman’s determination to become a diva, no matter the cost.
