JOANIE BRITTINGHAM
SOPRANO
Joanie Brittingham, soprano, has been praised for her “dramatic versatility” (Opera News), “meltingly beautiful” interpretations (Forbes), “lucid diction” (New York Times), “captivating stage presence” (New York Classical Review), and “full-bodied voice” (Tulsa World throughout her “outstanding solo work” (New York Concert Review). Ms. Brittingham has two Masters degrees from Baylor University, in voice performance and music history and literature, and obtained her undergraduate degree from West Virginia University in voice performance and theatre.

DENISE CRAWFORT
SOPRANO
Soprano, Denise Crawfort has recently been seen as Lucia (The Rape of Lucretia). Roles include Adele (Die Fledermaus), Nella (Gianni Schicchi), First Lady (Die Zauberflöte), Girl in Trio (Trouble in Tahiti), Valencienne (The Merry Widow), Lady Psyche (Princess Ida), Peep Bo (The Mikado) and Foreign Woman (The Consul). Performances with Opera Avanti, Opera Manhattan, Hartford Opera Theater, Simsbury Light Opera, Janiec Opera Company, UNC Greensboro and Ithaca College.

ANDY DWAN
BARITONE
Mr. Dwan’s previous roles include Figaro in Mozart’s Le nozze di Figaro with San Jose Opera, Kecal in Smetana’s The Bartered Bride with the Music Academy of the West, and Dulcamara in Donizetti’s l’Elisir d’Amore with City Lyric Opera. He also has a passion for contemporary works, with recent performances of Knot an Opera with Fresh Squeezed Opera, Aldous Huxley in Anne LeBaron’s LSD: The Opera premiered at the Disney Redcat Hall, and Oulomenos in Jason Thorpe Buchanan’s Hunger, performed in conjunction with The Industry’s First Take. This summer he looks forward to performing at the Schwabacher Concert with the Merola Opera Program.

SARAH DUTCHER
PIANO, KEYBOARDS
Sarah Dutcher is a solo and collaborative pianist, instructor, and composer living in New York City. Alongside teaching a full studio of young students, she performs in a wide range of roles from opera accompanist to synthesizer player. She specializes in new works and has participated in several local and world premieres of new music.

JILLIAN FLEXNER
FSO FOUNDER, ENTREPRENEUR, GRANT WRITER
Jillian Flexner is a composer, new music activist, and development professional. Jillian founded the Fresh Squeezed Opera Company. She was lauded for her work as a non-profit entrepreneur at the Laurence M. Field Center for Entrepreneurship Women Entrepreneurs Conference in 2015 and was selected to attend the American Express Women in Music Leadership Conference in 2019. Under her guidance, Fresh Squeezed Opera has performed works by over 35 composers, including 17 world premieres, and 9 fully staged productions. She received her MBA from the Zicklin School of Business.

CLAIRE MYERS McCORMICK
SOPRANO
Soprano Claire McCormick has performed in operatic and concert settings across the country. As a Core Company Resident with Fresh Squeezed Opera, Claire played Sally Mae in the East Coast premiere of Bruce Trinkley's Baby Shower, and Peitho in Kate Soper's Here Be Sirens, as well as performing in their new music concerts. Recently, she made her Metropolitan Opera Chorus debut in Fidelio.

DEVONY SMITH
SOPRANO
Noted for her "strong" voice and "dramatic conviction" (New York Times), Devony Smith is a versatile vocalist excelling in both contemporary and traditional repertoire. Devony particularly relishes the opportunity to perform contemporary works. In 2020 she will create the role of “Idleness” in the world premiere of Kate Soper’s new opera, The Romance of the Rose. As a part of Opera Forum: New Works at Cincinnati Opera, she recently workshopped the title role in Matthew Aucoin’s New Opera, Eurydice, a Metropolitan Opera and Los Angeles Opera co-commission.

JANE HOFFMAN
SOPRANO
As a passionate advocate for contemporary music, she is particularly in demand as a performer of new works; she recently premiered scenes from The Contract Player with OperaRox Productions, and she has premiered multiple works as a Core Company Resident with the Fresh Squeezed Opera Company.

WHITNEY GEORGE
COMPOSER, CONDUCTOR
Whitney George is a composer and conductor who specializes in the use of mixed media to blur the distinctions between concert performance, installation art, and theater. Utilizing a wide variety of material including literary texts, silent film, stock footage, and visual arts, George's compositions are characterized by an immersive theatricality that thrives on collaboration in all phases of the creative process. Her affinity for the macabre, the fantastic, and the bizarre frequently gives rise to musical programs that evoke the traditions of phantasmagoria and melodrama, challenging musicians to experiment liberally with their stage personae, and audiences to widen the scope of their attention

TIM LEONARD
CELLO
Brooklyn-based cellist Timothy Leonard, is a promising young cellist. He has concertized in China, Australia, Italy, and Mexico and has collaborated with members of the Juilliard Quartet, Momenta Quartet, ICE, ACME, MET Orchestra, and Adelaide Symphony.

LISH LINDSEY
FLUTE
Flutist Alicia "Lish" Lindsey was born in South Korea and grew up in New Jersey, 15 minutes outside of Philadelphia, PA where jimmies and sprinkles are considered two different confectionery toppings. She currently resides in the heart of New York City's Theater District. As a freelance musician she has enjoyed performing with some of the most engaging and vibrant musicians in the United States as well as in Japan, China, Italy, England, and Wales

AMBER TREADWAY
DIRECTOR, LIBRETTIST
Amber Treadway is a Director, Stage Manager, and Librettist in New York. Recently accepted into the BMI Lehman Engel Musical Theatre Workshop as a lyricist, she is an accomplished librettist. Amber has directed Mud, Not Not Not Not Not Enough Oxygen, and Dean Talbot & the Search for America (Columbia College Chicago), Sweets by Kate, Le Nozze di Figaro, (OperaRox) and Here Be Sirens.
